I have had mild Keratosis Pilaris (acne-like blemishes) on my upper arms since I was in secondary school. Unfortunately, it didn’t occur to me that I could use salicylic acid as a treatment option until very recently. I had been using Aveeno’s Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser on my face with decent results. One day I decided to try it on my arms. I used it for a couple of weeks and I had decent results. However, the sizing of Aveeno’s product (6 ounces) made it cost inefficient to use as a body wash.
I searched for body washes with salicylic acid and found this one by CeraVe. I ordered it and have been using it daily for a couple of months now. It’s worked wonders on my upper arms which look and feel smoother at this point. It doesn’t have much of a smell, which I like, and it hasn’t caused any blemishes.
